Grand to Grand 2012

Aiming at the wealthier end of the ultrarunning market, the Grand to Grand is a new stage race and is billed as the only unsupported 6 day stage race in America. Starting the 160 mile event at the Rim of the Grand Canyon the event covers about a marathon a day with  a long day of about 50 miles on the third day. The finish line is at the summit of the Pink Cliffs – part of the  Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument in Southern Utah.

This is hoped by the team of race organisers to be an annual event and will no doubt be one of the most spectacular settings for a race anywhere in the world.
